Pet Essentials Hamilton will endeavour to have your order processed as soon as possible.

UNDER NORMAL CIRCUMSTANCES

  • Orders received before 2pm any normal working weekday should leave the same day.
  • Orders placed over the weekend and Public Holidays may be processed the next working weekday.
  • Orders shall be freighted using the most appropriate freight provider of choice by Pet Essentials Hamilton
  • Where possible you will be given a tracking number to enable you to track your product.

EXCEPTIONS

There may be times where this may not be possible, an example of these may be

  • Exceptionally busy periods.
  • Outage in transmission/power systems.
  • In the event of a pandemic/natural disaster etc.
  • OR any other reason that inhibits an unexpected delay.

FROZEN/MEATS/PERISHABLE ITEMS

Please contact us directly on (07 8533191) to place orders for frozen meat and perishable items as pricing and stock may vary. We can process your payment over the phone via credit/debit card. Frozen or perishable orders will leave the morning after the order is placed to help them arrive safely. 

LARGE/OVERSIZED ITEMS

The freight costs of these shall be processed on an individual basis. Pet Essentials Hamilton may add increased costs to cover these if necessary. Customers shall be advised of these at the time of processing.

STORE PICKUPS/COLLECTIONS

Orders for Collection/Pickup MUST have the ‘Pickup’ option selected at the checkout. Security questions will be asked and must be answered by the person collecting the order. Please don’t be offended if we ask these – we need to ensure that the order is going to the correct person. A copy of the order email needs to be shown on collection. Collect in Store Orders must be collected within 7 days from the date you are notified by email that your Order is ready for collection.

ORDER FULFILMENT

Delivery charges within mainland North Island and South Island will be calculated for each order and shown as a separate item before you chose to enter your payment details and send the order to be processed. Delivery will be by courier or by any delivery service as chosen by Pet Essentials Hamilton. For delivery to an offshore island of New Zealand please enter the details of the shipping agent at the pick-up point on the mainland at which it would be convenient for you to have the order delivered to. Pet Essentials Hamilton’s responsibility for products shall cease on delivery of the order to your nominated shipping agent. Collect in Store Orders must be collected within 7 days from the date you are notified by email that your Order is ready for collection. If your Order is not collected within this time, your order will be cancelled. The relevant Collection Store may then allocate those Goods to another customer and your refund will be credited to the card you used for your Order, less any administration fee payable. You acknowledge that we may record the details of any identification provided in relation to collection of products.

WARRANTIES

Pet Essentials Hamilton has no express guarantees unless they are in writing. Unless the goods are acquired for business purposes, Pet Essentials Hamilton will repair or replace any goods which fail to comply with any guarantee contained in the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993. Nothing on this site is to be construed as a recommendation to use any particular product.

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

Pet Essentials Hamilton is not liable for any direct, indirect, special, incidental or consequential damages arising out of the use, or the inability to use, the material on this site. This includes but is not limited to the loss of data or loss of profit, even if Pet Essentials Hamilton was advised of the possibility of such damages

CONTRACT, PAYMENT AND DELIVERY ALL WITHIN NEW ZEALAND

Orders will only be accepted by Pet Essentials Hamilton, New Zealand and payment is to be made in New Zealand currency. Any contract arising from this site is governed by the laws of New Zealand. Pet Essentials Hamilton will deliver goods only within New Zealand.

CANCELLATION AND PRODUCT RETURN

You may cancel this order without charge at any time up to the dispatch of goods to your address. Any charge to your credit card will be credited. You may cancel this order if the goods have already been dispatched, but not received at your address. Pet Essentials Hamilton will credit your credit card for a sum equal to the cost of the product excluding handling and delivery costs, once the product has been returned. To the extent permitted by law, we exclude all liability to you or anyone else for loss or damage of any kind (however caused or arising) relating in any way to the website including, but not limited to, loss or damage you might suffer as a result of:
