Product description: Topical ‘drop on’ liquid for the treatment of Scaly face mite (Knemidokoptes pilae) in budgies. Active constituent: 1000ug / mL lvermectin. Key features: Safe and highly effective. Easy administration, bottle includes a drop delivery system. Safe to use in conjunction with food additives and supplements and with oral medications. Directions: For external use only. Dosage and administration: Birds less than 30g body weight apply 1 drop. Bird between 30-60g body weight apply 2 drops. Repeat application weekly for three doses. Place drops on an un-feathered area of skin, on the thigh or under the wing – DO NOT apply directly to the affected area as this may cause irritation. Treat all birds in the aviary. Full recovery may take up to 6 weeks.
